ENTRY QUALIFICATION

Minimum is Ordinary National Diploma from an accredited Institution (O’Level Candidates with 3 years Field experience will be considered).

INTRODUCTION

This course provides training at a supervisory level. The Derrick man has far more responsibility and a more complex skill set than a Floor hand, and acts as a supervisor to the crew. The position requires a comprehensive knowledge of the entire Mud System from make-up and mixing of the mud and the materials used, to the maintenance of the Mud and Transfer Pumps.

  • Appropriate combination of education and industry experience.
  • Completion of the Roustabout and Roughneck courses

INTRODUCTION
