Unit 1 EXAMINATION
Morning sitting starting at 9.30am
Results are reported as Distinction, Merit, Pass or Fail. In order to pass this unit, candidates must achieve the pass mark and score at least 40% in each of sections A and B.
Unit 2 EXAMINATION
Afternoon sitting starting at 2.00pm
Examination results are reported as Distinction, Merit, Pass, Fail (above threshold)* or Fail. The examination carries a weighting of 50% for the unit.
Candidates may choose when they complete and submit their assignments. Upon receipt of an assignment booking, the British Safety Council will e-mail the candidate to confirm the booking and provide an electronic cover sheet which must be completed and submitted with the assignment.
Assignment results are reported as Distinction, Merit, Pass or Fail and issued within six weeks of submission.
Unit 2 assignment carries a weighting of 50% for the unit.
Unit 3 assignment carries a 100% weighting for the unit.
